Nayuleska's thoughts
I so would have loved this book when I was little, although I definitely love it now. It's a fun girly read with heaps to do. There are glossy card figures on the inside covers to play with-the gloss means they are wipeable, perfect as little hands can get dirty, so the figures are protected. The fact they aren't double-sided is why this book doesn't quite get a perfect grade. I guess you could look at the one-sidedness as being an opportunity to decorate the other side, however there isn't even an outline in black for the reader to colour in.

There is certainly plenty of scenes within the book which need colour added to them-there is a good balance of colouring parts and sticker parts. From houses to dogs, dresses, and ice cream there's heaps of items for the reader to choose their own style and colour and to add many of the provided stickers to. There are fun puzzles to do too, including an adorable looking dot to dot dragon - a perfect companion for every fairy princess, who were cutest at the end in their pjs, their toys in their arms and a huge princess and the pea style bed (looks good but I don't like heights).
